Sangiovese grapes are grown at 2,500 feet on a sloping mountain in the high Sierra Foothills of California. The grapes are handpicked and fermented in small lots. The wine is aged in 13% new American Oak barrels for 18 months. Light, spicy, and playful with peppery notes with accents of ripe fruit and hints of fiery oak.
