China Room
The China Room located upstairs in the southwest corner is a bright happy room with a balcony to enjoy the setting sun. Contrasting red walls and wood trim add to the cozy, quiet feeling of this room. Comfy King bed, traditional hand carved wood chairs & sitting bench, toasty warm enameled fireplace and private bath with a tiled walk in shower have all made this a newly themed favorite room.
With the brick orange wall to accent this newly themed room, this room has a great view of the “Castle Fitzpatrick” standing guard over our 25 meter lap pool. The comfy queen bed lends its view to the south. Your balcony looks out east to the High Sierra, where Pyramid Peak reigns supreme. This eastern look is where you'll enjoy both the sun and the moon rising above the tree-studded horizon. Like the Irish room the window seat is the perfect place for reading, napping or having a nice cup of tea. The fireplace adds a comforting glow for those chilly winter nights. Want to wake up to a bright cheery morning? This southeast room enjoys the new day's light. The bathroom is appointed with a tiled walk in shower and elegant bidet.
India Room
Irish Room
Tucked away in the northwest corner of our upstairs, the Irish Room is a long-time favorite room of choice. Could it be simply because of its name and Irish motif of mellow greens and creamy whites? Maybe so but the quiet repose of this room shaded by the ever-growing Black Walnut tree lends itself to sleeping-in or just snuggling up in a shawl backed by a mass of pillows on the window seat staring out at the far reaching wine country view. The large emerald enameled fireplace lights up the room with a welcome warm glow on a stormy winter's eve. There's plenty of Irish books and books on Ireland to stage a dreamy escape to that other land from whence so many of our ancestors came. Make a pot of Irish tea and grab some Digestives to complete the fantasy.
The French Room
Our most elegant room, the French Suite located upstairs in the northeast corner has one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Sierra Foothills. Our snow-capped label icon, Pyramid Peak, is visible too especially from your outside balcony which faces East from where both the sun and the moon rise. The bath carries the theme of the French Suite to new levels with a hand-crafted double vanity made from white marble and motif tile. The bidet and chandelier are a nice fitting for the theme too. Center piece in lies a tub for two and separate glass & tile shower.
The Log Room
The ambiance of our hand-crafted Log Lodge is captured in the Log Suite. Our only B&B room on the main floor, the log suite cuddles you in the warm glow and security of log walls and inter-connecting log beams overhead. A bold room with lots of space, a comfortable Cal-King bed as the center piece. In front of the fireplace sits a comfortable couch to snuggle into watching the flickering of the fire. A table and chairs opens up possibilities of activities while enjoying time in your cozy cocoon of logs. A day bed is available and comes in handy if you are traveling as two singles or with a third person or child. The bathroom has both a roomy tile shower and a large antique claw foot tub as well as a custom vanity with large mirror and a bidet. Walk out on sizeable wood deck which is tree shrouded but offers views overlooking the winery operations (Crush & Pick Time) and the great panorama beyond.

The rooms in our log lodge will take your breath away and still leave money in your pocket.

With commanding views from each room, a hot tub to sooth your body on the main deck and a lap pool under the castle to wake you up, are only the first three things you will enjoy on your visit. And to mention the hand crafted wine made from our Estate grown grapes and the great made to order breakfast should be more than enough reasons to come up for a visit.

Free Wi-Fi and Dish TV just in case you did not come up to “un-plug.” Walk the vineyards if you are in the mood.

Each room is fitted with a super quiet AC and heat unit. They also each have a gas fireplace to keep you comfy.

We serve an Irish Ploughmans Lunch on the weekends. A great Cobb Salad and Turkey sandwich to satisfy most folks. A lighter snack of hummus and chips, crab cakes or the port brownies to go with our estate wine.
There is the Pub of Fair Play half a mile from our driveway that has great British pub food. Fish and chips, bangers & mash, burgers, pizza and salads that keep the locals coming back. There is the Gold Vine Grill and Wonderful Chinese Restaurant 9 and 12 minutes away.
